Among the new technologies to improve the effectiveness of learning and to attract students to STEM subjects "the network" is one of the most relevant. This group was set up to manage a Community of Practice COP around this subject. There are lots of technologies and advanced engineering methodologies related to this domain and the UNIPI's Educational Scenario on NETWORKING is aimed to present to the students with a systemic and experiential learning approach some of the inner function behind the "seemless" functioning of the network, including the peripheral part related to the Internet of Things, Edge/Fog Computing, Cyber Physical Systems, etc. Nevertheless the interest is also on the use of the network as a learning tool to trasform traditional teaching practices is new advanced learning strategies and in particular to attract students towards STEM extending the very relevant topics of TE (Technology and Engineering - where the Network is one of the most advance example of a complex system) to Science and Math where the network and it's new paradigms (were processing, communication, control, storage are more integrated) can enable new strategies for effective learning and advances in those domains.
